Así como Ennio Morricone (protagonista de mi anterior publicación sobre «Gabriel’s Oboe») tuvo numerosos reconocimientos no sólo por su prolífica carrera sino también por la calidad de muchas de sus obras, me atrevería a decir que -injustamente o no- Tanita Tikaram fue una de esas artistas conocidas por un único éxito musical.

Hija de un indo-fiyiano y una malaya, Tanita Tikaram nació en Alemania y se crió en el Reino Unido. Enloqueciendo al dicho que nadie es profeta en su tierra, su famosa canción no estuvo muy arriba en la influyente lista de éxitos del Reino Unido aunque sí logró entrar entre los 10 primeros en las listas de Alemania y también de otros países de Europa. Recordaba perfectamente haberla escuchado en la radio e incluso que aparecía un asno en el videoclip. Lo que no había pensado antes es qué hubiera sido de esta canción sin el oboe que va saltando dulcemente por ella. Sí, un oboe. A pesar de que no se use habitualmente en otros géneros musicales más allá de la música clásica, lo podemos encontrar de manera esporádica en algunas grabaciones de canciones específicas y en ésta en concreto tiene una presencia muy destacada.

Según Tanita Tikaram contó en alguna entrevista, la canción trataba principalmente sobre los sentimientos con el mundo en la post adolescencia. Al margen de la originalidad de incluir un oboe, me parece justo destacar la letra de la canción y su contundente primer verso donde cita el título de una obra de la escritora, poeta y activista estadounidense Maya Angelou https://www.mayaangelou.com, en memoria de quien se celebraba el 4 de Abril el día de la lectura.

Los amantes de las series podríais haber reconocido la canción en un capítulo de «Corrupción en Miami» e incluso a su hermano Ramon Tikaram en «Juego de Tronos». No es mi caso, prefiero los cuentos de mi padre en la cama voladora.

Just as Ennio Morricone (the main role of my previous publication on «Gabriel’s Oboe») had many recognitions not only for his prolific career but also for the quality of his works, I would dare to say that -unfairly or not- Tanita Tikaram was one of those artists known for a single musical hit.

The daughter of an Indo-Fijian and a Malay, Tanita Tikaram was born in Germany and raised in the United Kingdom. Driving crazy the saying that no one is a prophet in her land, her famous song did not reach high positions on the influential UK music hit charts, although it did make it into the top 10 in Germany and other European countries. I perfectly remember having heard this song on the radio and even that a donkey appeared in the video clip. I have never asked myself before what would have happened to this song without the oboe that is gently jumping through it. Yes, an oboe. Although it is not commonly used in other musical genres beyond classical music, we can find it sporadically in some recordings of specific songs. As you can realise, it has a very prominent presence in this song.

According to Tanita Tikaram, the song was mainly about how do we feel the relationship with the world when we enter adulthood just after adolescence. Apart from the originality of including an oboe, I think it is fair to highlight the lyrics of the song and its forceful first line of the song which is the title of a book by the American writer, poet and activist Maya Angelou https://www.mayaangelou.com. Last April 4 was Dr. Maya Angelou’s day of reading.

Series lovers might have recognized the song in an episode of «Miami Vice» and Tanita Tikaram’s brother Ramon Tikaram in «Game of Thrones». I prefer the stories of my father in the flying bed rather than watching tv series.

Gabriel’s Oboe

Ha pasado un año sin escribir entradas en mi blog, sin olvidarlo, con constantes ganas de volver a él. Entre todas las cosas que suceden en 365 días, varias han llamado mi atención como inspiración para relacionar con alguna canción. Sin embargo, desde el 6 de Julio del 2020 nada pasó por delante de mi deseo de escribir sobre esta canción. Ese día, ese 6 de Julio del 2020, falleció Ennio Morricone, compositor y director de orquesta italiano mundialmente conocido por haber compuesto la banda sonora de centenares de películas.

Su música alcanzaba el estatus de protagonista en muchas de las películas en las que participó y le puso nombre y apellidos a la música cinematográfica como consecuencia de una gran capacidad de trabajo, dejándose inspirar por la historia y haciendo uso de un amplio universo de recursos instrumentales. Espero poder homenajearle en futuras entradas del blog con muchas de las canciones que compuso para el cine y que he disfrutado tanto. Para quienes no hayan visto «La Misión», la película de cuya banda sonora se encargó Ennio Morricone y donde encontramos «Gabriel’s Oboe», les recomiendo que la vean con atención y con el volumen bien alto para sumergirse en este drama histórico sobre un conflicto entre España y Portugal en el que también se vieron involucrados Jesuitas y Guaraníes.

En un par de entradas del blog -diría que en la de «Epic» y en la de «Ain’t no sunshine»- admiraba las horas de práctica de los músicos e invitaba a quien me leyera a ser pacientes si tenían algún vecino cuyos hijos empezaran a tocar algún instrumento musical. En mi caso, recuerdo haber refunfuñado escuchando a mi vecina en sus inicios con el oboe y, veinte años después, ella consiguió emocionarme tocando la pieza «Gabriel’s Oboe» durante el funeral de mi padre. El sonido que desde el coro se repartía por toda la iglesia parecía que lo traían los ángeles. Al final de esta entrada os dejo un enlace para que os hagáis una idea de cómo sonaba.

Hace pocos días fue el día del padre y ya no puedo celebrarlo con él. O sí. Recordándole constantemente. Mi padre amaba Tarragona. Le encantaba pasear observando la ciudad como inspiración para novelas y disfrutaba haciendo de guía turístico para amigos y familiares. Siendo joven fue bastante activo en entidades de la ciudad como, por ejemplo, la Jove Cambra de Tarragona.

El día que regresé de Emiratos Árabes Unidos, el pasado 29 de Enero, me golpeó la triste noticia del fallecimiento de un antiguo compañero del colegio a causa del COVID. Así, en Tarragona perdimos a Óscar Hijosa, otro enamorado de la ciudad que, como mi padre, fue miembro de la Jove Cambra y, además, del Club Rugby Tarragona, de ANC Tarragona, Associació d’Amics i Amigues de la UNESCO de Tarragona, de la Colla Jove Xiquets de Tarragona, Jove Cambra Internacional y un largo etcétera. No teníamos mucha relación, más allá de compartir un grupo de WhatsApp y de haberme pedido consejo antes de un viaje que realizó a Georgia (donde el Oboe, por cierto, se llama Duduki).

Gabriel’s Oboe

A year has passed without writing on my blog, without forgetting it, with constant desire to return to it. Among all the things that happen in 365 days, several have caught my attention as inspiration to talk about a song. However, since July 6, 2020, nothing got over my desire to write about this song. That day, July 6, 2020, Ennio Morricone, Italian composer and conductor known worldwide for having composed the soundtrack of hundreds of films, passed away.

His music reached the status of leading role in many of the films in which he participated and he gave name and surname to cinematographic music as a result of a great capacity for work, allowing himself to be inspired by the history and using a wide world of instrumental resources. I hope I can honor him in future blog posts with some of the songs that he wrote for many films and that I have enjoyed so much. For those who have not seen «The Mission», the film whose soundtrack was composed by Ennio Morricone and where we find «Gabriel’s Oboe», please let me recommend you to watch it carefully and with volume up to immerse yourself in this historical drama about a conflict between Spain and Portugal in which Jesuits and Guaraníes were also involved.

In a couple of blog posts – I’d say «Epic» and «Ain’t no sunshine» – I admired the musicians’ practice hours and invited anyone who read me to be patient if they had a neighbor whose children will begin to play a musical instrument. In my case, I remember grumbling while listening to my neighbor’s first oboe’s lessons and, twenty years later, she managed to move me by playing «Gabriel’s Oboe» during my father’s funeral. A few days ago it was Father’s Day and I can’t celebrate it with him anymore. Or maybe I still can with him constantly in my mind. My father loved Tarragona. He enjoyed to walk around observing the city as an inspiration for novels and he was happy being a tour guide for friends and family. When he was young he was quite active in entities of the city such as, for example, the Jove Cambra de Tarragona.

The day I returned from the United Arab Emirates, last January 29, I was struck by the sad news of the death of a former schoolmate due to COVID. Thus, in Tarragona we lost Óscar Hijosa, another lover of the city who, like my father, was a member of the Jove Cambra and, in addition, of the Tarragona Rugby Club, ANC Tarragona, Associació d’Amics i Amigues de la UNESCO de Tarragona , from the Colla Jove Xiquets de Tarragona, Jove Cambra Internacional and a long etcetera. We didn’t have much of a relationship, apart from sharing a WhatsApp group and asking me for advice before a trip he made to Georgia (where the Oboe, by the way, is called Duduki).

You’ll never walk alone

Como expliqué en la introducción, este blog es un espacio donde compartir buena música por el recuerdo de los momentos entre padres e hijos, ya fuera contando cuentos o viendo un bonito videoclip musical antes de ir a dormir. A veces, la actualidad sacude la biblioteca musical de mi cabeza y cambio el hilo argumental entre unas canciones y otras. Por desgracia, hay defunciones todos los días y algunas son de personajes públicos que a muchos nos son familiares.

El martes falleció Michael Robinson, ex futbolista, comentarista y presentador de televisión. Sin conocerlo, pero por mis sensaciones tras haberlo visto tantas horas en la televisión y viendo las reacciones de la gente que trató con él, parece haber sido de esas personas con las que es fácil llevarse bien. Además, me despierta admiración el hecho que destacara en una faceta, la de comunicador, que no era algo que inicialmente dominara como el balón y que lo hizo en un idioma que también tuvo que ir aprendiendo. Admiro eso y, sobre todo, la transmisión de los valores y enseñanzas que ahora comparten los que trabajaron con él: la fortaleza para defender sus principios, la necesidad de dar la talla y de afrontar con entereza lo que venga, el no hacer nada que obligase a su padre a mandarle a la cama sin cenar.

Originalmente, fue compuesta para un musical de Broadway estrenado en 1945 que tuvo bastante éxito y la canción cierta repercusión. La versión que más conocemos fue la de 1963 de Gerry and the Pacemakers, una banda musical de Liverpool https://www.visitliverpool.com/ que también fue apadrinada por Brian Epstein y producida por George Martin, pues eran amigos de The Beatles. Ese mismo año la canción fue adoptada por los hinchas del Liverpool F.C. y rápidamente se convirtió en el himno del club siendo cantada por sus seguidores antes de cada partido con la versión de Gerry and the Pacemakers sonando en la megafonía del estadio.

De la cantidad de vídeos que hay con esa canción, he seleccionado uno que me hace pensar en la importancia de la psicología en el deporte. A los que nos gusta el deporte en general y el fútbol en particular, no nos importaría ampliar este vídeo de apenas 3 minutos con otros que nos expliquen todo lo que hay detrás para comprender cómo un equipo que va perdiendo 3-0 en la primera parte consigue ganar una final de la Copa de Europa remontando en 45 minutos tras el descanso. Cada vez que veo imágenes así pienso en la fortaleza mental de los deportistas profesionales para competir bajo presión, para no fallar ante miles (o millones) de personas, incluso para superarse a sí mismos. Le doy mucho valor a esos aspectos y a lo que se han esforzado para llegar hasta allí. Además, de esa colección de valores que les ha dado el deporte, cada vez más deportistas ponen en práctica la solidaridad. Como Michael Robinson, parece que son de los agradecidos a la vida, de los que -en lugar de amilanarse- disfrutan de escuchar a decenas de miles de personas cantando al unísono ese You’ll Never Walk Alone instantes antes de jugar un partido de fútbol en Anfield.

Mucha gente se siente sola. Pero también hay gente que, quizá sin conocer esa canción, intenta que no sientan que caminan solos. Ahora que no los pueden visitar, les han estado enviando mensajes de apoyo y ánimo a través de las nuevas tecnologías. Algo parecido viene haciendo Amics de la Gent Gran https://amigosdelosmayores.org/es. En Lleida, la asociación Reintegra http://reintegralleida.org/ sigue ayudando a personas en situación de vulnerabilidad ofreciéndoles estrategias y herramientas para mejorar su situación laboral, actuando ahora como intermediarios gestionando ofertas laborales y conectando a las personas más necesitadas con empresas del territorio. Y en Tarragona la colaboración de la Cruz Roja http://www.creuroja.org/AP/cm/25P24L1/Tarragona.aspx con el Ayuntamiento ha servido para que cinco personas que estaban durmiendo en el pabellón municipal del Serrallo consigan trabajar en labores agrícolas, apoyándoles en lo necesario hasta que obtengan el primer salario.

Me gustaría imaginarme que alguna de esas personas que ha recibido esa ayuda, también haya podido escuchar el tema You’ll Never Walk Alone de Gerry and the Pacemakers. El 20 de marzo de 2020, a iniciativa de la emisora de radio holandesa 3FM, fue emitido simultáneamente por 162 emisoras de radio de toda Europa en señal de solidaridad y resistencia frente a la pandemia de Coronavirus. Mientras la ayuda va en camino, les dará energía eso de “walk on, walk on with hope in your heart and you’ll never walk alone, you’ll never walk alone”.

You’ll never walk alone

As I explained in the introduction, this blog is a space where I share good music for the memory of moments between parents and children, whether it be telling stories or watching a nice music video clip before going to sleep. Sometimes the news shake the music library in my head and I change the story line between the songs. Unfortunately, there are deaths every day and some are famous people that many of us are familiar with.

Last Tuesday, Michael Robinson -a former soccer player, commentator and television presenter-, passed away. I did not know him but after having seen him for so many hours on television and considering the reactions of the people who dealt with him, he seems to have been one of those persons with whom it is easy to get along. In addition, I am amazed at the fact that he stood out as communicator, something that he was not supposed to be good at and that he did it in a language he also had to learn. I admire that and, above all, the transmission of the values and teachings that those who worked with him are sharing now with us: the spirit to defend his principles, the need of being good enough and face with integrity what comes, not to do something that would have made his father to send him to bed without having dinner.

When talking about Michael Robinson http://@michaelrobinson and the time spent watching him on tv two songs are coming to my mind but, due to his condition as a former football player for Liverpool F.C. https://www.liverpoolfc.com/, I think it’s fair enough to talk about You’ll Never Walk Alone. Originally, it was composed for a Broadway musical released in 1945 that was quite successful and the song had some repercussion. The version we know best was the 1963 version of Gerry and the Pacemakers, a Liverpool https://www.visitliverpool.com/ music band friends of The Beatles that was also sponsored by Brian Epstein and produced by George Martin. There are a lot of videos with that song but I have selected one that makes me think about the importance of psychology in sports. For those of us who like sports in general and soccer in particular, we would not mind expanding this video of just 3 minutes with others explaining everything behind it to understand how a team that is losing 3-0 in the first half manages to win a Champions League final after the half time. Every time I see images like this I think about the mental strength of professional athletes to compete under pressure, not to fail before thousands (or millions) of people, even to outdo themselves. I place great value on those aspects and what they have strived to get there. In addition to that collection of values that sport has given them, more and more athletes put solidarity into practice. Like Michael Robinson, it looks like they are grateful to life and -instead of being intimidated- they enjoy listening to tens of thousands of people singing You’ll Never Walk Alone when they are going to play a football game at Anfield.

Many people feel lonely. But there is also people who, perhaps without knowing that song, try to help them not to feel that they are walking alone. Cáritas Girona http://www.caritasgirona.cat/ has a project in collaboration with hundreds of students from educational centers of the province trying to avoid the loneliness of the elderly in residences and promote their self-esteem. Now that they cannot visit them, they have been sending messages of support and encouragement through new technologies. In Lleida, Reintegra Association http://reintegralleida.org/ continues to help people in vulnerable situations by offering them strategies and tools to improve their employment situation, now acting as intermediaries managing job offers and connecting the most needy people with companies in the area. Te hiero mucho (historia del amante guisante)

Como a muchos niños, esas cosas verdes redondas no me gustaban nada. En alguna ocasión debí alargar tanto el rato de la comida que prácticamente se juntó con la hora de la merienda. Para reconocerme la hazaña, uno de los años en que Sus Majestades Los Reyes Magos nos visitaban, me obsequiaron con un fantástico camión sobre el que habían dejado una lata de guisantes.

Pese a tener un guisante como protagonista, el videoclip de hoy es uno de los más originales que he visto, la canción engancha y la letra tiene mucho significado. Los artífices del éxito son la banda barcelonesa Love Of Lesbian https://loveoflesbianband.com/, quienes empezaron cantando en inglés pero lograron tener mejores críticas cuando pasaron a cantar en castellano. Con Enric Montefusco comparten el origen barcelonés, el mencionado cambio de idioma e incluso uno de los integrantes de la banda participó también en Standstill.

En la actualidad es un grupo de música con mucho éxito. Suelen llenar salas de conciertos incluso varios días consecutivos. Aunque tengo mis temas favoritos, especialmente uno, os recomiendo que reviséis cualquier álbum de Love of Lesbian y encontréis los vuestros.

Finalmente decidí publicar una vez por semana. En principio durante el fin de semana. Siendo hoy Sant Jordi, una jornada muy especial en Catalunya donde es tradición regalarnos libros y rosas en este día, he decidido avanzarlo y qué mejor manera que con un grupo catalán -Love of Lesbian- que además incluye a algún Jordi entre sus componentes, con un cantante -Santi Balmes- que ha publicado algún libro y con este videoclip que tiene un cuento como base. Like many kids, I didn’t like those round green things. In some occasion I had to lengthen the time of the meal so much that it almost joined the snack time. To recognise my feat, one of the years The Three Kings (the Three Wise Men) visited us, they gave me a fantastic toy truck with a can of peas over it.

Despite having a pea on the main role, today’s music video is one of the most original ones I have ever seen, the song gets you hooked on it and the lyrics have a lot of meaning. The architects of the success are the members of a music group from Barcelona called Love Of Lesbian https://loveoflesbianband.com/, who started singing in English but managed to get better reviews when they started singing in Spanish. They have some common aspects with Enric Montefusco: they are from Barcelona, they both changed the language from English to Spanish and even one of the members of Love of Lesbian participated in Standstill music band.

They are having succes nowadays. They often fill concert halls even on several consecutive days. Although I have my favorite song, I suggest you listen all Love of Lesbian albums and find yours.

I finally decided to post once a week. Probably during the weekend. Flauta Man

Un barcelonés que probablemente se haya fijado en Jaume Sisa como influencia en su carrera musical es Enric Montefusco. Lo que no se puede poner en duda es que ha sido también un inquieto creador, un artista multifacético. Acumula casi veinte años de experiencia, diez discos entre su banda Standstill y su carrera en solitario, la creación de su propia discográfica, incursiones en el teatro, dirección de proyectos audiovisuales, conciertos, incluso ha publicado un libro.

La canción Flauta Man es una de las que más hemos oído en casa. A mi hijo le gustó desde la primera vez que la escuchamos, especialmente la vocecita del final.

El videoclip de hoy no sé si es una idea suya o una casualidad, pero me resulta muy gracioso haber juntado unos inventos peculiares con una letra tan original. En algún momento hasta parece que bailen al son de la música. De hecho, muchas veces he pensado que si tuviera una agencia de publicidad invertiría en esta canción y la haría triunfar, tengo un par de ideas interesantes al respecto.

Qualsevol nit pot sortir el Sol

Comprendo que muchos prefieran el “todos los días sale el Sol, chipirón”. Si algún día entra en este blog será por el videoclip y la alegría que produce esa canción en la gente. Yo me seguiré decantando por este himno de Jaume Sisa http://www.cancioncontodos.com/autor/jaume-sisa, una de las mentes pensantes de esa primera actuación de la Orquestra Plateria que casi podría ser el Bowie del actual rock catalán y que tuvo otras buenas ideas, como fue componer esta canción.

El videoclip de hoy le gustará a los niños porque no paran de salir personajes de ficción. Quizá algún nostálgico también aguante hasta el final. Y si queréis disfrutar de la melodía del Catalán y prestáis atención a la letra, descubriréis un mensaje muy bonito. Lo intento poner en práctica cada día.

I understand that some people would prefer a song in Spanish saying «todos los días sale el sol, chipirón”. If I ever post that song on this blog it will be because of the music video and the joy that this song produces in people. Meanwhile, I will continue chosing this hymn by Jaume Sisa http://www.cancioncontodos.com/autor/jaume-sisa, one of the thinking minds of that first performance of the Orquestra Plateria. Jaume Sisa is a singer and songwriter who might be for Catalan rock something like Bowie to British music. He also had some other good ideas, for example composing this song.

Kids will like today’s music video, there are a lot of characters coming out. Perhaps some nostalgic person also likes it. Ayway, if you want to enjoy the melodic Catalan language you can pay attention to the lyrics, you will discover a very nice message. I try to put it into practice every day.

Si aún no os habéis atrevido a bailar “Cariñito” con alguien, hacedlo, quizá le quede un recuerdo imborrable de ese momento. Un amigo me dijo ayer que le gustó el video pero no tanto la música. Espero que el día que se junte con su familia se acuerde de la canción y se peguen un buen bailoteo.

Con unas cuantas canciones en la colección del blog algunos ya me vais diciendo lo que os gusta, otros enviándome noticias para añadir, otros alguna sugerencia musical… ¡me gusta! La canción de hoy es poco habitual, no es de las que escucho a menudo, pero es historia de la -buena- música.

Recuerdo haber bailado “Pedro Navaja“ con mi abuela con los suficientes detalles como para ser consciente que se trataba de la versión de la Orquestra Plateria. Ya le daremos al compositor de la canción, don Rubén Blades, un espacio en otro momento.

La Orquestra Plateria http://www.orquestraplateria.com/ era una orquesta referente de la salsa y la música popular de baile. Fue creada en 1974 en Barcelona para realizar una única actuación en la sala Zeleste de la calle Argenteria (Platería, traducido del Catalán) gracias a una idea de una serie de cantautores.

He leído que Rubén Blades se inspiró en la canción “Mack the knife”, del poeta y dramaturgo alemán Bertolt Brecht. Cuando cumplí 18 años, mis tíos me regalaron un bolígrafo y una cita del señor Brecht que decía:

Eso me ha hecho pensar en que la imaginación de convertir una cama en voladora también cuenta, y mucho.

I remember dancing «Pedro Navaja» with my grandmother in enough detail to be aware that it was the Orquestra Plateria’s version. The song’s composer was Rubén Blades but we will talk about him another day.

Orquestra Plateria http://www.orquestraplateria.com/ was a salsa and popular dance music well known orchestra. It was created in Barcelona in 1974 to do a single performance at Zeleste concert room on Argenteria Street (Platería, translated from Catalan) thanks to an idea from a group of singer-songwriters.

I have read that Rubén Blades was inspired by the song “Mack the knife” by Bertolt Brecht, a German poet and playwright. When I turned 18, my uncles gave me a pen with a quote from Mr. Brecht that said:

Cariñito

Siguiendo con el buen ambiente de los músicos surferos que, sin duda, están muchas horas bajo el astro rey, hoy pasamos a la cumbia peruana de la mano de Los Hijos del Sol. La canción la compusieron en 1979, pero en 2007 aumentó su popularidad cuando una compañía de discos publicó un recopilatorio de música peruana.

Esto es lo que he podido averiguar, a la espera de que mi buen amigo y DJ Napoleón Pincha me explique más, al fin y al cabo descubrí la canción escuchando una de sus intervenciones en el programa de radio Pista de fusta.

En manos de DJ con buen gusto o de músicos que realizan versiones de canciones, Los Hijos del Sol se cuelan de vez en cuando en alguna fiesta. Si en estos días de confinamiento os veis con ganas de sorprender a los de casa, se avecina un buen rato en familia o en pareja con un baile improvisado al son de “Cariñito”.

De los vídeos que he encontrado con la canción, os dejo uno con fotografías de Perú https://peru.info/es-pe/turismo que es para todos los públicos. En los otros que he visto el cámara se “tropezaba” cuando se acercaba a las bailarinas y digamos que los planos le salían en un ángulo muy “empinado”. Este detalle me servirá para saber quién se lee mi blog, si me piden el enlace de esos otros vídeos será que me leen.

Estos días mis amigos de Tarragona (y la mexicana de Hong Kong) me han ido enviando cositas para añadir en el blog. En otras entradas he hablado de ONG de nivel mundial y ayer de un par de Hawai. Hoy toca mencionar a Taula Amiga, que a través del comedor social que la Fundació Formació i Treball https://www.formacioitreball.org/es/comedor-taula-amiga/ tiene en el centro de Tarragona sirve diariamente 200 almuerzos a familias y personas necesitadas, un 50% más que antes de la emergencia sanitaria. Necesitan recibir más alimentos y poder atender así una demanda que va en aumento. El Mercat Central de Tarragona ya ha iniciado una campaña de recogida de productos de primera necesidad para facilitar ayudarles.

También Cáritas Tarragona https://www.caritasdtarragona.cat/ está haciendo un llamamiento de voluntarios para ayudar en comedores sociales, servicios de ayuda a domicilios, centros de distribución de alimentos y apoyo telefónico a personas necesitadas. La entidad necesita cubrir la creciente demanda que está registrando estos días. Los voluntarios interesados (deben ser mayores de edad) pueden dirigirse a caritas@caritasdtarragona.cat.

El protagonista de hoy https://jackjohnsonmusic.com/home ha tenido éxito tanto en la música como en el surf y la combinación de ambos en sus vídeos musicales transmite buenas vibraciones. Quizá por ser Hawaiano o por un fuerte accidente que sufrió practicando surf, parece tomarse las cosas con calma y nos entretiene con un pop ligero y refrescante.

El videoclip de hoy es una buena muestra de ese carácter. Los que tenéis hijos aprovechad para verlo con ellos, creo que les gustará. El simpático mono que veréis en el videoclip es de una película y serie de libros y de animación llamada “Jorge El Curioso” (Curious George). Espero que disfrutéis también con su música. Para mí ha sido un buen descubrimiento.
